Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and raised in Los Angeles, Justin obtained a degree in Business Administration from California State University, Fullerton, with emphasis in marketing and advertising. After graduating college, he toured the U.S. with his own band, playing clubs from coast to coast.

He began his songwriting career in the 1980's and has had numerous name act cuts with many of the artists listed below. As a publisher he began specializing strictly in holiday music, becoming know as "Mr. Christmas", the definitive source for holiday songs for film, TV and recording projects.
